I'm driving a 95 240 and one thing I definitely want to look into is swapping for the infamous SR. Problem is I dont have the slightest idea how much something like that should cost. I mean I dont want to pay toomuch or pay to little and get a ****ty engine. Could y'all give tell what a reasonable price would be for the engine and/or installation.

which engine type, s13 redtop/blacktop, s14, probably not s15. check out the sponsors, phase 2, mckinney, mvp, enjuku, underground, heavy throttle, and the like. probably ~2500 for a redtop, ~2800-3000 for blacktop, ~3500-3700 for s14. thats general of course.

Yeah I was probably gonna get a red top. Were the prices u gave me for the engine or for the engine and installation?
