You say "90-93", these don't work in a 94? I have to say, besides maybe a complete lack of cupholders altogether, the early Q's have the worst designed holders on Earth. I've been looking for some aftermarket ones since I bought the damned thing because I hate having to open my armrest to take a drink. Any ideas for a 94?

*EDIT* I see the "Universal Cupholder", but that's still pretty inconvenient.

90-93 has no cupholder and a large center tray, so it fits. Not sure where you'd put it on a 94. The site does have a bunch of different designs on it though. The guy that runs it is like a cupholder enthusiast or something.

good stuff i was really missing not having a cup holder. Its One of those essential things imo when you do alot of driving back and forth to work.

A quick look at the fitment page shows that the BMW E39 cupholder is confirmed to fit a '92 G50, and looking at the way it mounts, it seems to me that it should work on any G50.

I'm the one that emailed him with a fitment confirmation. Is the center tray/compartment on the 94-96 as wide as the 90-93? Seems that with the lid, it might be narrower.
