So i wired map signal to pin 35 (speed density), and power to avail pin 37 (0-5v spare), and ground will be run to chassis.

I don't know what to connect the gm IAT plug to though.. it has a black and orange wire.

theres pin 36 which is FICD solenoid(RB25DET) / IAT Sensor (RB26DETT) or do i run it to previous maf plugs...

please let me know guys, thanks!

Did you get the aem supplied gm iat sensor? My wires are white and black. The white wire goes to pin 36, black to ground. You can run a new wire or just splice it to the ficd wire.

Well i bought a seperate gm iat because i didnt think my aem would come with one, which it didn't. I'm guessing the Orange wire is not ground, so i'm going to run that to pin 36.

I also am using a gm 3 bar map sensor I hope thats alright.

I would like to know what that little round metal disk is that came with the AEM. It looks like it would go on the cam angle sensor or something.... do i even need it?

I really recommend installing the cas disk. I had a lot of issues in the beginning with the ems not reading the cas correctly. If you check the aem forums you'll see some people had problems while some didn't.

will the car run with the cas disk and mafs, because i'm gunna run aem in a little while but gotta run off mafs for a few days

and is the cas disk simple to install? why does it need replaced anyways?

Not sure what you mean. You can run the stock CAS if the aem has no problems with it. The aem Includes base software for both maf and map. It won't run without a maf or map connected.

The cas disk isn't simple to removed. You may need a small press to remove bearings.

So i will know if i have a problem if the CAS disk needs replaced? What i was asking was should i just go ahead and replace the disk or wait to see if its fine without it?

You can go ahead and run without it. Just log the S-tooth errors. Check the AEM boards for more info about it.

It claimed that errors come from high HP and high loads... i plan on exceeding 500hp by a little ways... Should i install the thing right away or just log errors anyways

What is the consequence of errors, bad ignition timing, bad spark, loss of hp?

That's what AEM claims but ems just has trouble reading some CAS disks for whatever reason. My troubles happened after 20 minutes of driving, all the time. It continued until I set the aem to ignore errors. Like I said some people have problems while others don't, so If you don't want any problems just log the s-tooth errors and if it's bad enough swap the disk.
