Previous owner messed up the vacuum!

Alright, so I bought my 88 NA 2+2 a few months back and I've been fixing it up during the winter months. Recently I've been using thumpers vacuum line guide to replace the old hoses. That's where I've run into a problem. It seems like the PO reworked a couple lines on the passenger side so now the cruise control is connected to a T that runs from the manifold and the vacuum canister has a hole from where the cruise control hose was. I can't find any info on the canister or that bit that screws into it. What would be the best way to fix this? Thanks in advance.
