So have you always been a Nissan Driver? This is my/our first Nissan.

I owned two (mentioned it several times here).

'02 Satin Silver ACURA RSX (Premium, SportShift). Very happy and would've kept her as my Winter Beater. LOL But Air Bags deployed (Not at Fault) and I left the Moonroof open while it was raining out.

'99 Black PONTIAC GrandAM/V6. Lemon, only had her for 3 years. Engine Overheating, transmission and Electrical Issues were some of my problems.

This is my 2nd Nissan, back to my '93 NX2000 which racked up 240,000 trouble-free miles. I traded my '03 Honda Accord with 238,000 miles last week. Previous to the Accord, I had a '96 Firebird Formula as my daily driver.

88 Ford Taurus---HS car. Great in snow, but unreliable engine. Got rid of that pos as soon as possible!

89 Honda Accord Coupe LXi -- Still own it. Very reliable. Will keep thru winter then I think I'll get rid of it. (had her for 8 years; its gonna be hard to let her go!)

90 Acura Legend -- Also extremely reliable. Still looks, runs great. Finally had to put her outside when my coupe came in. Feel guilty about that.

This is my first Nissan and I love it! I can't wait to modify it this spring!

previous vehicles:

2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser; Fully modified but before I modified it, i was lucky to get 15mpg on the highway with that pig. Miss the truck, don't miss the $100 a week in gas i was putting in it! Traded that for the Coupe and I have never looked back since.

2003 Acura TL type S: Still have it and still running strong!

2000 Acura TL: son needed a car for college so.....

1999 Acura CL: Still have it and is my tuner project. Dropped 2", 19" wheels, AEM CAI, and still pouring money into it!

I've loved every single one of my cars. I've had no major problems whatsoever with any of them. Despite all the problems with the coupes that I've read from this forum...I've only had two minor problems with mine...

1. 1972 Chevy Nova (First Car)2. 1985 Chevy S103. 1963 Impala SS 327 (Biggest Car)4. 1969 Chevelle SS 396 (Nicest and most powerful car)5. 1985 Cadi (smallest/biggest piece of ****)6. 1986 Mustang7. 1997 VW Jetta (Most reliable and just sold car before Nissan)8. 1991 Yamaha FZR 6009. 2006 Yamaha R6 (Most fun to own)(Motorcycle)10. 2008 Nissan Altima 2.5SL (Current and nicest car I've ever owned, finally made it to being an adult at 28 years old)

I was fortunate to own the Jetta while in College and beyond. I swear, I racked up around 80k miles in college and I put including oil changes, tires, and tuneups, 700$ into the thing in 10 years... It was solid. I never had a problem with the thing.

I hope my SL is half that reliable.

This thread will be fun. Good reading.I'm an old fart, so I've had tons of cars.Currently have 3 Nissans in my driveway (see my signature). My son has an 01 Maxima and my mum an 06 Sentra. Every one is good. Like 'em all. No problems with any of them.My first car was a '65 Chevy. Had a blast with my buddies in that thing. Almost killed myself more than once, but somehow I made it.First new car was a '73 Toyota Celica (second year of production.) I liked the car, but it had a badly designed engine. Had to be swapped twice due to bad valve seals.Between then and now there were a lot of crap cars, mostly from the big 3.None that I can remember that I really liked. They all had problems of some sort.Worst ones were Fords. Never again.I'll stick with Nissan for the forseeable future.

My second nissan1) 97 oldsmobile regency red, fully loaded, white leather, but slower than a turtle. sold becuase money was needed2) 88 Jeep cherokee. by far the worst car in the world, the 4.0L V6 is worhtless, on steep hills it wouldnt pass the 55, from 55 to max speed which is 85 it takes over a minute. i have it parked becuase no one will buy it3) 95 Nissan Pathfinder, white, 4x4, was a very fun ride, until my transmission went out, i had to replace that and then now my 4x4 doesnt work, and its rattelling like crazy, and it hesitates when you stomp the throttle. i gave it to mom

4) my altima, i dont need to describe it because you guys know how it is
