Here is a preview of some of the stuff thats going on at Wiring Specialties right now. The first ever Plug and play S13 SR into S14 chassis complete brand new wiring harness.

It was made to fit the US Chassis perfectly being that the S13 SR was installed into a USDM S14 chassis and all the wiring was mocked up and done right there to insure a perfect fit.

These are going to be ready to go out sometime soon and I'm doing an Introductory price of $300 shipped to anywhere in the US for the upper harness.

The lower harness is also available for an additional $80

The are guaranteed to fit and they have an unlimited startup warranty.

Heres a few pictures

Main Upper harness

The Transmission harness is also available, for an additional $80 Transmission harness

Is there a way to make ABS work with your harness?

My S14 has ABS w/ S13 SR... Currently ABS is not hooked up.

Thanks.

Great question.

At the moment, the pre-made harnesses are manufactured without ABS wiring. What we are doing with our ABS customers is installing ABS wiring from the 240sx into the harness before shipping in out.

We do require the KA harness core for the ABS wiring.

Version 2 of the SR wiring for S14 chassis will contain ABS wiring extension, which will be installed or removed depending on the application.

Should work very well.

Now when are you going to do the S13 into S13 harness you and I discussed through email? This harness looks very nice by the way.

The s13 harness is being worked on as we speak hopefully in the next couple months it will be complete and ready to go. Hopefully sooner but you know how that goes, the final product will be extremely worth it.

Thanks for the kind words!

The S13 to S13 harness is already in production. My hope that in th enext 8-10 weeks i will have the first shipment at the shop. The S13 harness will have the ABS built into the harness because the AS wiring for the S13 chassis is so much simpler than that of the S14 240sx.

Pricing will be excellent for the S13 to S13 conversion harness. I hope to keep it under $280.. We'll see what the shipping and all will cost.

Same idea for the auto to manual extension for the transmission harness.

David and I will keep everyone posted, but don;t be shy to check out the site. We are finally making a lot of updates there with images and new products.

My car is finally entering the final steps toward being ready for the streets. Having a clean wiring harness would be such a nice addition to the engine bay.

Clean wiring truely makes a big difference.

Thats awesome that your setup is coming together man! looks like you've done a good bit of work to it.

I have been working on my swap for around 9 months and i took extra time routing the wiring and working with Yury to get it as clean as possible.

I still need to get my build thread up

started like this

Now its nearing completion and looks like this

If enough interest is raised for those they may go into production as well.

For now its just for the most common swaps.

Looks pretty good man. Keep up the good work. I just got one of my orders in today from enjuku. Hopefully, I'll be placing an order with you soon.

Edit: Just checked out the site and stumbled across the boost controller wiring service. What, exactly, do you do to the harness? Reason I'm asking is I really hate wiring. I'm always afraid I'm going to cross something, and, let's face it, I'm not very clean with it. If I would send you my isis ebc and turbo timer kit could you turn it into a plug and play type thing? I'd send you the entire kit to make it easier if you'd need since you most likely haven't wired one of these up yet. I could be your guinea pig to see if you want to add them to the site..

Nevermind. The wiring for this seems pretty straight forward. The only thing I can't figure out is how to wire it to the parking brake? Is there a wire that runs from the parking brake to the dash?

Edit: I see where the wire runs from the ebrake. Would you run a wire through your dash and under the center console or would it be easiest to run it to somewhere else where the wire goes?

The boost controller option is for us to wire in an electronic boost controller that has an ECU interface. Boost controllers like the AVCR, Greedy E-01, etc.

I am not familiar with the ISIS boost controller, but if it has an ECU connections, we can wire it in for you.

The turbo timer has a turbo timer harness that allows it to be plugged in to the steering column wiring, so no wiring needed there.

Let me knowThanksYury

I'm uploading pics now, and maybe you can tell me what to do... It says something about a single input double output relay or something like that. I know how to solder 2 wires together if I know which ones. I just don't know what relay pin 85 is, or anything like that...

Awesome pics man .Can't see a thing.

If this is a boost controller, then just throw the instructionsin the box and we'll figure out the rest.

ThanksYury

lol sorry about that... cell phone + glossy paper = bad...

Here's what it says... I just need to know if this is something you can turn into plug and play or if it's something I'm going to have to splice into multiple wires...

Power Connector: -Connect the wires according to the following chart, or reference the wiring diagram.

White - Parking Brake - Positive Input. Needed for turbo timer to run.Yellow - Ignition = Switches the BCU+ On and OffBlack - Ground Red - +12VDC

Solenoid Connector:-The solenoid harness comes terminated on one end with the appropriate connector.-Cut the wires to length, and connect to the wires of the solenoid.-It does not matter which wire connects to red or black.

Purple - Ignition 1 OutputOrange - Ignition 2 OutpudRed- +12VDC

Solenoid Output - RedSolenoid Output - Black

Optional Wiring (For the turbo timer function)

Ch1 Positive-When activated ,the green wire (ch1 output) will supply 12VDC.-This feature requires one SPDT(Single Pole Double Throw) relay not included in the kit.-Relays can be purchased at your local auto parts store.

Green (from BCU+) - Relay Pin 85 - Triggers RelayRelay Pin 30 - +12VDC - Provides power to the relayRelay Pin 86 - Ground - Provides ground to the relayRelay Pin 87 - Controlled Device - Provides Power to the controlled Device

Ch1 Negative-When activated, the Green wire (ch1 output) will supply 12VDC.-This feature requires one SPDT (Single Pole Double Throw) relay not included in the kit.-Relays can be purchased at your local auto parts store.

Green (from BCU+) - Relay Pin 85 - Triggers RelayRelay Pin 30 - Ground - Provides power to the relayRelay Pin 86 - Ground - Provides ground to the relayRelay Pin 87 - Controlled Device - Provides ground to the controlled Device

(There are also options for ch2 which are basically the same as ch1. I don't see why I would need those considering the only reason I need it at all is I want the turbo timer function to work.)

The relay pin stuff is where my brain seems to lock up. The rest seems straight forward enough that I could most likely stumble my way through it. It would be really nice to have a nice clean plug and play setup though instead of having to solder this stuff into my dash harness.

The parking brake signal is the wire that runs to the pin device that triggers the ebrake light. You can wire it in to that ebrake light behind the cluster. Not sure what wire it is off the top of my head.

How about the ignition 1 output and ignition 2 output? Also, the relay pin 85 and stuff like that... These things are where I'm completely confused.

Well id assume one is when the ignition is on? Or maybe if you put it on ACC? Something like that. The relay pin 85 is easy because the pins are labeled if you look at them there is numbers by them.

Yeah, I figured out all of the stuff that was confusing me is for the nitrous or whatever else you may want to have it control. The rest of the stuff seems pretty straight forward.

I had my orignal harness modified by Yuri (per Heavy Throttle/srswap) over 4 years ago, and have never had a single issue. Wiring Specialities is the ONLY place I suggest people to use for their swaps, as they literally include EVERYTHING with their swaps.

These guys have been in the game longer than most have even owned a 240...Yury and WS is top notch, and simple THE BEST.

Sounds good, they will be made as long as there is a good demand for them but next up is the S13 SR into S13 chassis.

Definitely will do! I was at a drift event last weekend, a couple cars with horrible wiring issues. I was doing some diagnosing on the spot for some issues. It appears most harnesses that come with swaps are complete junk :/

Damn, I payed xat 300 and they did a crapptastic job that took 6 weeks! I'm glad they shut down! My harness is sloppy, unused wires still bundled in there, dirty when I gave them new harnesses, Ive had a bunch of problems and I have been sick of this for years. I will be placing an order when I have the doe to shell out for sure! Seeing how clean your harness looks, I dont even want to try fixing it myself or send my crap in to be fixed.
