I'm having trouble with starting my car. Every time I start it or try to (most of the time it doesn't start unless I relieve the pressure), I end up with lots of pressure in my gas tank. I can see this because when I remove the cap, lots of vapors pour out. However, after the pressure is released, I can start the car, but it runs like crap. I'm pretty sure that it's fuel related because the car turns over, but doesn't start until the pressure is released.

If I don't release the pressure and try to start the car again, it doesn't start. Could this be because of the pressure and what could be causing so much to build up?

no idea bro.. but my car and prolly your car too has the non-pressure releasing gas caps and whenever i go to fill up when i open the gas cap i can hear the air come out like opening a 3 liter of PEPSI or suttin and it lasts for about 2 seconds..but my car runs fine..idk what yur problem is..try cleaning out the throttle body and the injectors

Sigh..., this project car is turning into an @$$hole. I know that it's something stupid..., but I just can't pinpoint it. I'm going to replace the fuel filter and fuel pump to see whats up. Btw, what U.S. fuel filter can I use for my motor (RB20)? Thanks.
