So I need to replace my front struts; The active suspension was removed by the previous owner. The rears are RS*R's from a GTR which are fine, but the fronts were also from a GTR but modified to fit. I was going to put on new GTR suspension, but the lower ball joint diameter is too small for the President.

I haven't discovered if the system is identical to the Q45 yet, but I'm guessing it's pretty close.

Can someone please give me the diameter of a lower ball joint bushing for their Q45? I want to see if I can get some and press them into the Teins I was going to buy. If not, I may try the Tokico Blues I've read about.

Can I buy these joints/bushings separate? Any pics would be greatly appreciated too!

I need to change them ASAP!

There are some threads where using a Z32 ball joint was discussed and the size mentioned. Captainluigi posted them.

Any G50 suspension components should work, but active tension rod bushings were different size. Too bad the active was trashed.

Do a search of my posts. I recall being rather specific. That said the Z32 BJ's will work but are 1mm smaller thru entire taper but identical at stress point. You MUST use the Z32 BJ seat as well. Spicer Pro Grade BJ's & IOS seats. A freezer, a propane torch (MAP if you have), a vise and a BFH and your in bidness. Also you can use Nismo oe Energy Suspension bushings if you so choose. Feel free to email me with any questions. If I can be of help I will. Please keep in mind that this is a 96 G50. I have no idea if there are discrepancies between the model years prior. Perhaps someone may enlighten you on that topic.

Try One Ton Garage, I think he might have something or can get you something.
