Personal value is just that. Personal.

I have almost $18K in receipts for my S13 hatch, but would be lucky to get $4K if I sold her. BUT, the first person to wave that money gets the keys, and several boxes of extra's to boot.

thanks for the input and you know i kinda came up with that answer by remembering the cars iive built over the years. i guess i thought this would be different. but the fact is i drove the car for about two hours last week and decided i would keep this ride indeffinetly so who cares what it cost, i'll just learn here and take the knowledge to my 240 and forget about the money issue.

That will depend on who wants the car when its up for sale... I bought my 89 coupe for about a grand at an auction , but someone offered me 5 grand for it . (and he was gonna make a drift car out of it). I think it would be worth more if you add some classy mods to it !!

Heres a better answer for u ... people regard "drifting" as a new sport . and every body wants rwd ricers .. big time for the 240. So the 240 will consistently go up in value if 1) the gendre continues. 2) your 240 looks good (even if its a work in progress like mine) . These cars are gettin rare. even more so running !!! Most who buy them want to rice em out. so if you were in my part of tx and you drove around w/ a phone # and a price, you'd probably get what you ask for it (so it depends on who wants to buy it) get it
