Thanks guys!

Yep, it's the new DD while I continue to build the green truck up and yes it is 4x4. It even comes with an factory ceiling mounted compass with outside temp readout. It's a great little truck.

Congrats! Love the Frontiers, all generations of them. I assume it's not an S/C version?

Wow you got a really nice truck then Rev. That would of been my exact choice in a truck if I was buying a frontier. I've seen a few around and wouldn't mind owning one myself.

Whatcha gunna tow with it!?

What are your plans for the frontier? Any offroad modifications such as brush guard, maybe lights, and blackened up? ^^

No real plans for it at the moment. Maybe some extra lights to help see at night, I live out in the country and deer are a major problem out here. Other than that I will be installing my XM unit, Ultragauge and my radar detector. A tonneau and bugshield are also on the list. I think I will be happy at that point. My 95 is my tinker toy and it's pretty good at sucking up my budget.

She's home! I took her for a nice long drive through the mountain roads around here cranking the soundtrack to Star Trek the Motion Picture. I enjoyed every second of the trip.

Here's a couple teaser shots until I can get better ones this weekend.

That's enough to make me jealous. I've wanted a good small 4x4 for years now.

It really was a chance of a lifetime to have things come together the way they did. First I got my tax return and used it to pay off the rest of my car. Then I put the car up on CL and got a hit within a couple of days. The guy paid me cash for the car and hauled it away on a trailer. I took the cash and combined it with some other savings to get a good down payment. I first saw this Frontier on the lot back in October. I test drove it the first time in January and finally pulled the trigger last week. The little shop I bought it from was wonderful and they addressed all the problems I made note of even after dropping the price. They came within $500 of my offer so I bit and paid them that day. All this went down within 2 weeks time and as people have told me things couldn't have played themselves out any finer if I had tried, as if I was meant to have this Frontier after at least a year of searching. It will have a great home here along side my two Hardbodies and anything it will need it will get. Thanks for the compliments everyone, the truck is blushing right now.

Nice! My grandpa's got a base-model KA 2wd pre-facelift 1st gen Frontier (that's a lot of descriptors...). I LOVE that truck.

I like the pre-facelift Frontier as well. I actually wasn't a fan of the big fender flares on the post-facelift until I got this truck, now they have grown on me. I like them better painted, the bare plastic look just doesn't do it for me. I'd just like to inform everyone that I did get a couple drops of mud on her when I pulled into the driveway tonight. Does that make me an official off-roader?

Yup. They're VG33E powered.

I brought the truck to work with me yesterday and spent some time washing and waxing. Here's a before pic only because the camera died right after I shot this.

My buddy has a truck just like the one you described. His is black and 5 speed. I've been begging him to sell it to me for years. Its such a nice vehicle.

Very nice truck, Rev.
