Buy him some nice floor mats or something (if he doesn't already have them)..

Maybe some "180SX" floor mats. Or some of those floor mats with the aluminum sheetmetal insert. =P

I think its realy cool that you actually got on NICO just to find out what to get him. I would say he already has the best girlfriend ever, what more could he need?

How about a cupholder, the stock ones are a little lacking, the cup aways flies back when I accelerate too hard.

LOL ... My ex got me my KYB's :D

But in terms of a CD player ... Pioneer Premier series, Panasonic MXE series, Clarion C-Net sereis, Alpine, Eclipse, and for something in the not so expensive price range, JVC Arsenal series (I think thats the name of the series). Basically you won't find these at Best Buy or Circut City. Those stores get the regular brand. Car stereo shops always have the better quality series. They tend to give some more options than the regular series.

Sony has a good head unit and they are not to expensive. The only thing you need to figure out is what options you think he might like. I would recommend getting a head unit that supports MP3 and If he has an Amplifier getting the 4 volt rca outputs.

Alpine is a very good brand of car stereo equipment, I'm quite fond of their stuff (if you couldn't tell from my sig, heh) . . . priced decently enough, though higher than the "bargain" brands, such as Sony, et cetra, but also lower than a brand such as Eclipse, Nakamichi, et cetra. Lots of power, sound quality, features, and not-too-tacky looking . . . Alpine would be a good choice. :-)

gah, she pulled fast one on my guys! this is my gf, undercover! i cant believe it...she even tricked me...i dont have a cf hood! dammit!

anyhow, she ended up getting me a new head-unit for my car (good work boys)

alpine CDA-9825...nice in my book...unfortunately my car is still under the weather (crashed w/o repair yet) so it goes on my shelf w/ my downpipe, rocker arm stoppers, turbo outlet, radiator (in the mail dammit), rad cap, KAAZ LSD (on the way for my bday) and various other stuff...lol well, now it's just a matter of time before i'm terrorizing the streets of ARL again (now w/ tunes to match :))
