Hey guys Im about to put my 240 away for winter (I live in rochester NY ). What should I do to prep it? I will be storing it in a barn, and so far Ive gathered that I should put Bounce (the stuff from a dryer) in the cabin, trunk, under the hood, everywhere..to keep the mice and rats out, plus it helps inside with any mildew and smell. Also disconnect the battery. Anything else? gas tank additives? how full should the tank be (is half tank bad because the gas gets crappy, or good incase condensation forms in the tank?)

Thanks in advance!Dan

i used that sta-bil stuff last winter, seemed to work pretty good , car never had a problem or anything...dont know how good it works but if it doesnt do anything bad it cant hurt to put it in

the other thing with the mice and stuff is put an old towel or something in your exhaust, keeps them from crawling up the pipe

how similar is your snow pattern to ours, you get lake effect off Ontario too right? theyre saying were going to have a pretty bad winter

yeah i would say you dont really need any storage prepping, unless your putting it away for a long time. not just a few months. just make sure to start it every once in awhile, and keep at least a half tank in it.

i think the best bet would be to rent a storage garage for the winter, those things are sealed perfectly. and only you can get into it.

get something that will keep the octane active in your tank and just seal it up tight.. i would purchase a heavy car cover, i already have, they are sold at your nearest Advance Auto Parts for a little over 20 dollars, they are a size S for Small..
