Premium package

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

Does anyone know if the premium package is available without the Navigation Package?I am having a big issue with my dealer. I agreed to lease a 2010 EX 35 AWD journey and they showed me all the features but cars in showroom all had Nav package which I didn't want or need. We arrived at a price for the car with all the features EXCEPT the Nav/bose. When my car arrived, it did not have the Premium package. Manager insists he did not have a car on his lot with the Premium Package for me to see and is blaming the salesman, who agrees with me , but I sense may not be long for this job...Looking at the Infiniti website, I'm wondering if you can only get the Premium Package with the NAV. anyone know? Also, canot activate the trial XM, have called them 4 times and it won't work. The dealership has not been able to help.Love the car, but this dealer is making me nuts, sad for him, he doesn't know what a persistent pain I can be!

I don't think you can get a Journey without the Nav...maybe you can get a base AWD with Premium but again I doubt that they would make a combination like that.

The logic would be that if someone is interested in paying for the premium package why would they not want the Bose/Nav? These EX's have been made oversea's a while ago and they package them the way that they guess the customers are going to prefer them...probably have to special order one if you can to get them to make one AWD Jouney/Premium pkg. without the Nav/Bose.

When you select the premium package you have to have the Bose and Around-Viewmonitor.

The Navigation package is added at no charge. Go on the site and configure an EX.

You can get the EX35 AWD Journey Package without Navigation but if you opt out for navigation, you don't get the Around View Monitor and I believe the tech package. If thats what your looking for, then yes it is definately possible to get a journey without navigation, I know for a fact because I was a signature away from purchasing one (ended up adding Nav though). Same as my dealer telling me, "Infiniti doesn't make RWD Journey Packages or RWD Base Models, they just say it on their website but they really don't make them". Truth is, they want you to buy what they have in their inventory without having to place an order or go through other dealers. In NY, they carry nothing but AWD and was told to believe RWD wouldn't be an option "Even if I special order and paid extra".

Check with Infiniti of Massapequa, they have pleanty of AWD Journeys without Navigation.

http://www.infinitiofmassapequa.com located in Massapequa, NY and not to far if they requested to ship from dealers if your also in NY. Goodluck!

Also took me like 2 weeks to get XM working. Sat in the car with ignition on 30 minutes ("to pick up the satellite signal" BS), multiple times and like 6 calls to finally get it working.

Manhattan, NY dealer was horrid too, so I feel your pain...

It may be possible to get a Journey without the Nav but I agree with the notion that, unless you get lucky, this might have to be a special order. I'm not sure if special orders are available as lease vehicles but you can ask.

I bought the premium package and am very glad I did.

The dealership I worked with provided excellent, responsive service and the salesman has sent several follow-up e-mails and phone calls asking how the car is doing and stating that (regarding the car!) if I need anything, ever, to call him and he will personally take care of it. On top of that, the purchase price was, I believe, within the lowest 5% of prices paid in the country. Paperwork handled promptly, very low interest rate, car delivered on time and exactly as promised. I was, and still am, very happy with the car, the price I paid, and with the dealership. Let me know if anyone would like the salesman's contact information. I'll send him a note asking if he'd be OK with my posting it on this site.
