Curious if anyone is running their M35 on regular and what their experiences have been. I have a 2006 M35x.

According to the Users Manual, you do not need Premium for the M35, but it is recommended (M45 owners should use Premium regardless!).

I suspect that you might see a slight difference in performance and mileage, but the M35 engine electronics ought to compensate for most normal driving activity on the car.

I have been using regular grade gasoline since new on my '07 M35 and have not had a problem; no pinging or cold starting problems. Fuel economy is not great, but I doubt that using premium would increase fuel mileage enough to make it cost effective.
