Preload tension rods?

I have the stillen adjustable tension rods on my '91 Q. How much should they be pre-loaded..#of turns?.....thanks, George.

The tension rods adjust caster, so preloading is not part of the equation. Have it aligned and the tech will adjust them as required, just make sure he knows that they are adjustable.

Set then equal to the stock tension rods first then the technican will have a good starting place.
