Hey guys, I am gonna be racing a MR2 in a few months, right after the guy buys it. He won't have time to modify it much, but I have a couple of months to do some souping up. If some of you could give me a few parts and stuff that would increase my horsepower, acceleration, etc, it would be greatly appriciated. I also need a new muffler, so I'm gonna go ahead and get a sport exhaust. What kind should I get?

Oh ya... this might help. 1989 Nissan 240sx fastback, all stock parts (for now), white, 5- speed.

Everyone around here seems to supprt the HKS hyper, or Apexi Exhaust systems, u can find them here http://www.heavythrottle.com

But i don't have em, so i can't say from experience... again not from experience but i've read people like the Hotshot headers. And NGK plugs i hear work well for Nissans. Im actually gonna buy some of those tomorrow . Cold air intakes....Basic shiat really.

LSD, drop in filter, tune up, exhaust.

What kind of MR2, a new one? An old turbo one? Or and even older one?

Add to the list a cam and a good header. Or you could just get some rearend gears, I seen like 4.656s for the 240 for like $400, Wont have much for topend but out the whole you should be a monster.
