I am in process of purchasing a SOHC 240. It has its share of miles but my main question is...if I buy this rebuild kit ( http://www.hublersengines.com/store/ekitsimp.html ) EK607M is the kit for the 240, would it be good enough for a turbo? or what would be suggested?

All help will be helpful.

I have $1200 to get a 240 that is decent enough to start powering up. After I buy the car getting money is no problem. It's just hard to find a DE running 240 for $1200 or less.

These days the 240s are overpriced. Wait till 3fast 3furious (or what ever the name is) comes out june 6th, then it will be a mess even more. The movie is going to ruin the drift scene too IMO.

Without a doubt. As soon as this movie comes out all the people who are into F&F and dont know what drifting is (there are those people) are going to try it and accidents will surely go up. Sucks because I just happen to need a car when this movie comes out and I want a 240 no matter what.
