I just came across a precision sc44 turbo for $500 in box never been used. What do you think abbout this turbo. Does precision make good products. How much lag is it going to have.

Basically i wanna know if it will lag quickly and be reliable at 10psi or less. Im not gonna rebuild my motor right away so im gonna try to keep the boost low.

I dont know about the turbo personally, but yes, precision makes some of the best turbos.

Looks like a 60-trim TO4E compressor...which is decent for a KA.

Check out the map: On a KA, assuming 90% VE...

Spool is just to the left of the surge line...shouldn't be an issue.

At 8psi (PR=1.6) it would be in the +74% region from 4000rpm to redline.

At 15psi it would be in the +74% from 3500 to redline.

Not bad...but the 50-trim is still sexier for the KA24DE.

A friend of mine decided not to put it on his honda and is gonna sell it to me. He bought it a month ago for 750 so im defineatly gonna buy it for 500. I thought most of the turbo kits for the ka like nsport and f-max came with a t3/t4 with a .63 ar is this right.
