S13 - Is there anything I can do prior to getting an RB25 installed? (planned: walbro + fpr + aftermarket oe replacement radiator). I'll also acquire an r33 crossmember as well.

I'll be using the syko mount kit, so from what I heard it will sit the engine far enough back where I should have enough clearance for a thicker radiator (not koyo - I've heard good things about the Mishimoto ones). I can't clean the engine bay, as I'll still be driving my s13 all the way until I get the swap done.

You can do alot before it goes in. It depends on how much you want to do and how deep your pockets are.

Water PumpOil PumpTiming belt, etc.Assoc. BeltsSeals, gaskets, etc.Oil pick up strainerFPRFuel PumpFiltersthe list goes on...

But like Kamin said. There are multiple routes to take to clear larger radiators so don't rule all of them out. And depending on your budget and plans I would suggest looking at other avenues beyond Mishimoto.

Good luck

I won't have the motor myself. I'm going to have to pay for installation (which will include the motorset), but I do plan on getting a water and oil pump as well as the belts.

So basically, there's nothing more I could do to my chassis? lol

Q45 with slotted rotors aleady done! :D

As far as suspension goes, I've got aftermarket tie rods and Front+Rear strut bars. I'll probably get coilovers + RUCAs + rear toe rods shortly after the swap.
