Yeah, I understand that the VG30DETT is an interference engine, and if that belt goes, you're in real trouble. Same with my old 944. So it's nothing to mess with. I don't want to spend money on this car and then have to do a valve/head job right away.

I'm tempted to use that as a bargaining chip, knowing that it's about 2k to do the service, but the price is already below what I think market is, and I don't want to push it too far. So we'll see.

Thats Z with no rust and a clean enginebay should be 12-14k almost anywhere, In Texas where cars are pretty cheap I still wouldnt imagine seeing this car for less even if the 60k service hasnt been done.
