Hey guys, just had a quick question for you. My left rear tailight has this giant hole in it, previous owner caused. I was going to attempt to replace the tailights this week with a set I had found online, but they're for a 96-98 Pathfinder. I set up the deal halfway, letting know when I had the money. But I don't want to flake on the deal if I don't have to. I know that the Prelift have the setup as turn signal/reverse/brake, and the Postlift as turn signal/brake/reverse. Has anyone tried this conversion? Is it just possible to reroute the bulbs to the right spot without issues? And overall, will the new assembly fit?

Thanks for the help in advance.

They will fit, I know someone on NPORA has put a set of post-facelift tail lights on his '96.

So I went ahead with the swap, and for anyone who is wondering, it is possible.

I prefer the amber look over clears, and they seem to pop right in place. The only gripes are that I may need to pick up new connectors for the bulbs from the 96-98 Pathfinders because they dont plug and play, just held in with electrical tape for the time being. Also, the trim piece doesn't cover the whole area for the tailight housing, so I either have to figure out a way to cover it the rest of the way, or do the above plan to prevent water from creeping into the tailights.
