pre-catalyst engine failure

Anyone had any luck getting Nissan NA to pay for a new engine on a car that is OUT of warranty?

I am at 90,000 miles, the engine is shot due to the pre-cat, but have been denied due to mileage. I've maintained my car well, only at Nissan dealerships, gotten all my recalls, and kept all my receipts.

Any thought on how I can be successful with Nissan NA?

If anyone is interested, I finally won my fight against Nissan NA and am getting a new engine at no cost to me. Let me know if you want to hear the steps I took...
