pre cat gone bad

where can i go get a pre cat for cheap because mine is messed up and it makes a lot of noise after 3000 rpm. any suggestions, thanks in advance

Makes a lot of noise like rattling?

If it's just rattling, you can probably get away w/ removing the heatshield around it. If you are paranoid you may start a fire, take the heat shield off and get some exhuast wrap or something to replace it or see if the bolts are loose or whatnot.

Well, exhaust wrap, either ebay (get the higher rating ones, I think like 1500 F or something), or from one of our sponsors, I forgot who sold these, but one of them do. Just do a search for exhaust wrap.

As for the heatshield, only way to get that is from one of the sponsors/dealer in the advertiser's section. This problem has been covered a lot, you should Search, really - you are just using the wrong terms -> change "pre cat gone bad" to "exhaust rattling" or something like that.
