I have done my best to find out what wires correspond to what speakers on the 14 speaker Bose amp. I want to use the signal before it goes through the Bose amp so it is a "clean" signal.

Has anyone done this? How have you added amps to your M and where did you make the connections? Are the wire colors different for an M that has the Mobile Entertainment System??

You're going to have to look in the fsm, that's where I found all the wire schematics for my 06

Does the FSM have "pin-out" diagrams or the actual colors?

Thanks

I went this route when I initially started my upgrade but on my 06 the output from the factory hu was all over the place. The Bose amp does a lot of processing to the signals apparently. The way I got it to work (as well as most if not all others) is to use an LOC on the speaker output from the Bose amp to the new amp(s). This has worked very well for me and I have all but the factory sub externally amp'd now. The level on the rear deck speakers, the seat speakers and the center speaker is not as high (contained to 20 watts) as I have not replaced them with aftermarket yet.
