First off I would like to compliment your signiture. Second off why is the horn lead t-tapped. That may be why its not working. Try crimping the signal on the horn lead.

1) want to keep all wires intact. 2) want to keep the horn functional.i was hoping that when he hits the horn the light will come on, and when the light (signal) lights up it will honk the horn too. thatd be funny as hell. any suggestions?

that takes cutting and splicing...

you can do something like tapping the power wire from something under the hood (blinkers...) and tap it over to the power on the horn...top right corner if ur facing the windshield if i'm not mistaken...very easy...tuck it away and it'll take him a while to notice...

(oops it's not a 240sx...forget i said anything about placement)

shouldnt it go thru the resistor (horn/light) and then ground at that point?
