Powertrain warranty now 10 years/120,000 miles

Did anyone else get the Christmas present from Nissan?

Received a letter in the mail about the update for the CVT transmission and also a letter stating that Nissan is extending the 5 year / 60,000 mile powertrain warranty to 10 years / 120,000 miles to address concerns about the CVT transmission.

I haven't had any problems with our Rogue, now coming up on 30,000 miles, but I sure like the fact that the powertrain is covered for 10 years / 120,000 miles!

I believe just the transmission is covered for 10 years/120k miles. That doesn't include the rest of the powertrain such as the engine and other driveline components.

Yes you are correct. Not sure why I thought it was powertrain, but even so, still nice to know the transmission is covered for that long.

Yeah, definitely. I'm going to make certain to make a point of that when I go to sell the car in probably about 4 years.
