powersteering?

who here does not have powersteering?!who here purposely took out their powersteering for more power and i think more precise steering during high speed, correct me on that if i'm off.

i think all 240sx's have power steeringi took off mine once bceause my power steering pump broke**** d00dlets just say we're all very spoiled on our power steering heh

i wouldn't do it unless its a race carbecause its hell driving that **** in the city

the steering is not more precise, but in most cases it transmits a lot more road feel.

i took mine out in my mustang but i didnt just leave the power steering rack, i put a manual in there. i saved over 50lbs. by taking out the rack, lines and pump though.

driving around a car with a power steering rack without a pump is just a pain in the ***. but its a cheap way to gain maybe 5hp. the pwoer steering pump doesnt take much power to run in a straight line since it really isnt doing much.

seems dangerous doign anythign other then straight line driving wihtout the pwr steering hooked upscared i wont be strong enough to turn the wheel lol
