powersteering help

i dont have the power steering pump any more and i only wat to get this motor running good so i can pass smog. i realized that the power steering belt goes to the fan and the water pump.... so basically i need smaller belt because there would be no pump...do any of you guys have done this before? if so... what kind of belt did you used? did you remember the part#?...any suggestions would be greatly appretiated..thanks in advance

what i would do, is get some string or small(in thickness) rope, and just put it on the pullies like you would with a belt, mark, measure, then go buy a new belt for a little larger than that length.
