powersteering and drifting question

i already have a 240 and i am getting another one soon and selling my current one. my main focus for the car is drifting. but the one i am getting doesn't have powersteering? will that be a problem for me? do i need powersteering for drifting? thanks

You don't need power steering, it just makes it more comfortable. You'll be drifting and building up your upper body at the same time!

in a 240sx, you pretty much need it.

I'd say yes you need it. unless you are super fast and you can counter steer like a mad man.

power steering has nothing to do with counter steer, the force of the car rotating is turning the wheels. the only time its going to help with drifting is when you are making adjustments once you are at lock/near it. comming out of full lock with your car trying to push it back into full lock without power steering is a *****.

try some donuts with no power steering and you'll feel how hard it is.

power steering is a must if youre drifting. it'll help save you when you mess up. KEY WORD: help

Dammit Kamin, you always make me feel like crap. I'ma go kill myself now

lol. Well i guess I meant steering all together. Cuz i was considering counter-steering along the same lines with correcting while in the middle of a drift. Also I'm pretty bad with explinations. I drove my friends 510 w/o power steering and couldnt imagine drifting like that. Possible, but i wouldn't.
