this is pretty elementary, and I've powerslid alittle bit, but, before I do any serious powersliding I'd like to have advice about the procedure from someone who knows what they're talking about.

To the point, what is the procedure for powersliding, and what advice can you give to someone who is inexperienced at it?

J/K!!! I do it in the rain all the time. Basically, what you want to do is approach the turn at a decent speed. Use Heels to Toe shifting and down shift right before you get there. Keep the gas even and maintain speed through the turn. As you start to head in the direction that you are headed, give it the gas and be ready to straighten it back out. Don't over correct, or you'll be friends with a curb. I'd start in a parking lot where you're not going to get busted. I've got a lawyer right now talking to the DA cuz I got wreckless driving and exhibition of speed for doing it in an empty parking lot at 12.30 at night. I hate cops.

You get bit.ch slapped with a whole bunch of things the second you lose traction.

alright, cool. of course, I'm gonna have to be careful about the location b/c I've already got tickets in the last three months from speeding (thank god they caught me going 60 in a 45 and not 100 in a 55, wew), and from driving w/o plates.ok, does the hand break come into play in this sit? the person who first showed me an example used his, but I'm not sure if he's full of it or not. He's either one badass mofo or a barell of sh1t

i use the handbrake but thats only cuz i have a front driver right now. with rwd, if you can downshift and get enough power to kick the clutch and break the tires loose, the same thing will happen. and you can keep it goin for longer generally
