Hello all. I went to a track day at a speedway in ocala awhile back and the IMVfilms.com film crew was there. They have a DVD out now, and one coming soon with some cool import car stuff. The camera they used is very high quality, hence the size of this file 73.9 megs. My car would come on boost and just spin to rev limit making it difficult to keep a slide going. I suppose I should have turned the boost down. The video is edited very well and it's super high quality. Enjoy: http://www.planb-attack.com/jay/JaysDrifts.wmv

I haven't seen the vid yet, but I'm pulling it off the site at 240 KB/sec, or 1.92 megabits/second . . . not bad at all. :-) Looking forward to watching it . . .

I really think practice has little to do with it but thats just me. I think getting over the fear of smashing my car into a wall is something I am not sure if I will ever do. And, the real problem was, I was running too much boost, most of the time it would come on and go straight to rev limiter, which doesnt make it easy to slide gracefully. Check this video guys :http://www.planb-attack.com/jay/Jay3.mpgRIGHT CLICK AND SAVE AS.

now that was about 4 months prior to the film originally posted. I had a smaller turbo then and there were no walls to hit. I have been drifting for quite awhile, and I know the difference between drift, and powerslide, hence the title of this post was not "Drifting on track"

I was actually trying to drive "grip" style but unfortunately, I had none lol. So I just had fun hanging the rear end out as much as I could.
