run the wires to the ash tray. Its bout that easy. providing you do a good job at it youll never have to worry bout n e thing.
1 -- just get to the switch you want to relocate. find out what gage the wires are (size and what there made with. 1 solid or many small wires)
2 -- remove the wires from the switch, you may have to desolider them. (not a big deal, just take a solidering gun and heat up the solider untill if becomes gelly like an take your wire out.) **NOTE you will need to mark the position of ythe wires on the switch before you remove them**
3 -- "extend" your existing wires by solidering the new wire on to the ends. let cool 30 sec, than put on heat shrink to cover the metal.
4 -- now run your wires to where ever you want them (try to avoid heat hence in will melt plastic)
5 -- slide on all your other peices of heatsink. reattach the wires onto the switch. shrink the heat shrink on after waiting 30 sec.
** lable your wires right. it will likly not work if you dont. **
6 -- play with and show of your new switch. -- MoNK
