Looking at purchasing a set of these for my S14. Has anyone had any experience with them? They will be onmy daily driver, had Megans on my old S13 and enjoyed them. The powered by MAX ones are just so sexy...

PBM makes a ton of parts for the s-chassis. What part are you specifically asking about?

PBM makes some pretty legit stuff regardless what part your buying and they always have really good prices. You enjoyed your old Megans?! :nono:

assuming youre talking about the coilovers. i have the pro series on my DD s13 (along with other max parts). i cant give an honest review on them since i had stock suspension before. but i really like them. and Dan and the rest of the guys are pretty awesome and really great to deal with too. i suggest going on their forums and reading as much as you can about them.

In my personal opinion of SPL versus PBM, it comes down to what do you want to do and what part are you going for. For suspension arms, SPL will be my choice, but that's purely a brand loyalty reason (aside from SPL being one of the best for quality construction and the bits are made in America). If you want to set up a durable drift car, PBM will get you there. Drop knuckles, quality coilover kits, and steering angle spacers are PBM's specialty, although in the way of suspension arms, PBM is just as good as SPL.

Another company to take a look at for parts is GKTech. They're still pumping out original pieces for the S-chassis (I WANT their modular front spindles so bad) that you can't find anywhere else.

GKtech is okay but the shipping bumps them up into the area og SPL PBM and they dont have the locking collars the other guys use. Now SPL was awesome, but I have seen a brand new set of their arms in person last month and the holes were mishaped and not even, almost like they were cut with a plazma, some even oval. And this is why I am considering PBM for arms.

A lot of American shops are starting to stock their parts now, so you don't have to pay for their crazy Australian shipping.
Their uprights are amazing, but their arms aren't all that great.
PBM and SPL are on the top of my list.
