For an RB25 S14 should I buy the powerdigger hybrid intercooler kit for an R33 Skyline GTS-T ; or S14 Sylvia? I'm using the Greddy plenum and the way I see it, the Skyline Kit would have better piping, but need custom work to mount the core, and the Sylvia kit would have a bolt-on core, but need custom piping. Which is the best bet? Thanks for any tips guys!

Doesn't the Greddy plenum face the intake manifold forwards? If so the R33 piping would not match up and the Silvia piping would probably come much closer to fitting.

Yes, the Greddy plenum faces toward the front bumper, is that how the SR20's intake manifold is that would come in a slyvia anyways?

Yeah the SR manifold is front facing so depending on where exactly your greddy sits the SR piping may bolt or come very close to bolting up. Either way it'll be a lot closer than the RB piping :)

The intercooler is awesome for the money. Dont buy their piping, because it is poor fitment and quality. Just buy the core and have a shop make your piping.

Hey Cameron,

No offense man, but the piping is not very good. I can list tons of posts from other forums about their piping if you would like.

I import them from Roger at PowerDigger in China, as I believe you do to.

The cores are amazing for the price, but the piping is very thin and the fitment is not good. I have dealt with several of these intercoolers and we have always ended up making our own piping. Im not saying it won't work, I'm just saying that the quality for the piping alone is not up to par.

So far I've installed 2 of their kits, one for the RB and one for the SR. So far I have had no problems with the piping fitment. Maybe I just got lucky :D

As far as the piping very thin...it is. But I don't really see the need for really thick piping? As long as you don't go banging it around everywhere the thickness shouldn't be a problem. I figured they made it thin on purpose to help keep it lighter.
