Power windows wont work

hey i have a 91 240sx with ka24de. idk y but power windows wont work anymore. replaced the fuse.. still wont work. idk what else would be the reason.

any info is appreciated

im also having a similar problem with my 240 i have a s14 cept one of mine works but not my drivers side, i was wondering if maybe u or someone else would know if theres a window motor off another nissan that could fit in my 240 bc the junkyard in my city doesnt have any 240s but im sure it has other nissans... thanks for the help and good luck with your porblem

yea i already checked that topic but idk if thats the amp because mine looks untouched. i flipped it over and i couldn't spot any broken connections

i know when my driver side window wasnt working, i could hear it making a click inside my door panel when i tried to use it. so i took off the door panel and there is a box little electrical box that a wire harness clip from the power windows control goes into. i took that out and went to the junk yard, found some old random nissan car with power windows, ripped off the door panel and it was the same part number, put it in and it worked likea champ. only cost a couple bucks too. then again it might also be the motor. as for the guy with both not working( im assuming since u pluralized "windows not working") it is probably fuse or something. check all the connections. maybe somethin just came unplugged.

yea both windows are not working. not making any noise when i try to make them work. checked the wires. scraped the metal connectors in the plugs with small flat head screw driver.. didnt helped. i got a new fuse. same thing nothing.

really weird. pisses me off also because its hot as hell in the car.

I had the same problem, but it turned out to be loose connector behind the door panel. If you don’t have any clicking then that would mean that the amps not working, but for both to crap out (at the same time??) something else is going on. Maybe it’s the switch assemble itself. Get you multi meter out and start checking the wiring . Sorry.

i had the same problem with my passenger side mirror. all i did was figure out which wires went to what( for up and down) attach the wires directly to the motor wires and add a gbround switch. they work perfectly now. i kno its not the right way to do it but hey itll work till i can get out and get a new switch

i checked it today and its not getting ground at the fuse. there is gotta be a shortage somewhere at the motor.

my money is on the amp or the master switch (the driver's side one)

I'm pretty sure you won't get ground on the fuses..
