power windows

here's the deal, when I bought the car the driver side power window didn't work. I thought I could fix it and now I am stuck. Looked at the wiring charts and it says that there should be a power window amp. There is not one there, all the other windows roll down fine. Am I missing something or is it F'ed up. Thanks for the help.

you sure you dont have that amp? on my 90 theres one inside the driver door. is it only a wiring problem or you hvae no idea? apply a current through the power window motor and see if it's just the motor first. good luck

the amp is not there, all the wiring is fine and the motor works. where can i get one

For less money I would suggest you go to your local auto wreckers and try to find one there. Depending on the year of your car it shouldnt be to difficult. Or you could go the more expensive way and visit a nissan dealership.
