the power windows started malfunctioning recently, the button to roll down the passenger window has been broken for awhile but the driver side window button only worked somtimes. Recently i took a look inside the door panel to see if any of the wires were loose ect. since then the driver side window has not been working at all. Anyone know what it could be? how i can fix it? and how much im looking at? thanks for your time.

well it could be a bad window motor... I mean stuff does go bad eventually. It'd probably just be easiest to have someone check it out at a local shop. I wouldn't think it'd be too expensive to fix.

when my driver's side power window gave out on me, it was stuck down and wouldnt come back up. turns out that the cable snapped, needed a new power window regulator. cost me close to 3 bills for parts and labor :(

the cable on one of my regulators snapped too, but I got the part used from an import parts store for $50 and installed it myself. It was a little tricky, but only took like 45 mins. **** dealerships.
