1992 Nissan Pathfinder. All the windows worked fine. All of a sudden only the driver's window works. The other three windows will not operate either from the driver control or their individual control buttons. No clicking, nothing at all. I would think if it was the driver control the windows would work at each control. So, I need help. Thanks

Welcome to NICO Club!

No finger pointing or teasing please, but this happened to me once. Same as you, drivers worked, but no others. I tore into the door panels trying to figure it out. Well... I had bumped that one lock button on the driver's side controls. The one that doesn't let the passengers control their windows anymore. All I had to do was push the button again. Did you bump that button? Or, even less blame on you would be that perhaps that button is 'stuck' on the inside. Gummed up from spilt coffee or something. That could be tested with a voltmeter set to continuity.

Otherwise I've also had experience with another related issue. There are little amplifiers that look like little black boxes in the doors that control the motors. The soldered connections on those circuit boards can go bad. I was able to find mine, take it apart, find a short, re-solder the connection and that fixed it for good.

Thank You, Thank You. I have had this thing for six years and have never even noticed that little button. This one goes along with why a bus conversion we bought would only run for two minutes after we got it home. Seems we had flipped a kill switch we didn't know the function of. Duh.... Thanks again.

I did that in my Versa just last night! Drove me crazy cuz the rear windows were open and I couldn't close 'em, and I was getting that awful compression booming in my ears. It was dark and I couldn't see the button......

Mitsubishi also thought it was a good idea to lock out the driver's controls when the lock button is pushed, so I am also someone who fell pray to thinking something broke. American vehicles (at least all I own) only lock out passenger controls which makes sense to me.
