Okay, my drivers window(right hand side) is stuck down and the switches on the centre console dont work. It's a JDM '89 Q45, i've checked all fuses and checked the connections in the door and everything but have no idea what is wrong. Would it be the window regulators or something like that? The switches on the centre console dont operate the windows, however the switches on the doors do work bar the drivers door. The window lock button on the centre console still works though.

Worst part is i dont know when or how it happened as it was off at a workshop when it happened, i had put the windows up when i left the car and handed over the keys but of course he said it was like that when he drove it into the shed. The guy mainly deals with car audio but also does fibreglassing(was getting bodykit fixed), he said he would take a look at it for me but i thought you guys here would have more of an idea than him.

If you don't hear the p/w window at all, it's probably electrical. Electrical problems are fairly unusual... someone would just have to start tracking the circuit from the fuse until the break is located.

If you hear the motor but it makes a binding noise, you're probably dealing with a window regulator.

If you end up needing a regulator, I have all 4 from a '92 Q. Hopefully it is an easier fix. Let me know how it goes.

Just an update, it turned out that the switch on the drivers door was faulty.

Thanks fellas!
