Power Windows/Locks

So I have lost power windows in all four doors and electric locking in both front doors (the only two that have it). Sun roof still works. Occasionally the electrical locking system on the passenger side will work, but rarely and not for very long. The problem started with the power locks on the driver's side, then expanded to the driver's side power window controller and then to the rest of the car. I have checked the 40A fuse from under the hood and it seems fine (I assume it is the little metal loop behind the plastic window, never seen these type before). I have a 1999 Pathfinder. I have a suspicion that there wiring is faulty going into the driver's side door since the problem started there, and opening/closing would remedy the problem initially. Any other thoughts/suggestions? Thanks in advance

id take the drivers door panel off first, usually in the drivers door there is one or 2 big connectors which might have come unplugged or got corroded. also you can check there for power into the switches.
