Power Window Stuck Down

Did a search and found that it's probably the regulator (I'm discounting the motor as a possibility because I can still hear it whirring when I try to put the window up).

Is there any way to move the window into the up position?

yes. if you push the switch up, grab the window and pull up and the window should go up with your hand. then you can use the switch again when you want it down. ive had to do this for the past two months because i dont feel like d!ck' with the regulator.
