Power window problems

I just bought a 95 j30 with 128k miles on it. I love the car but I have one major problem that I have not found a posting about.the front windows roll down about half way then they stop and I can hear the motor turning but nothing else happens . Closing them doesn't work at that point either unless I pull the window up by hand and push it back a bit then it almost closes till I have about a 3 mm gap I then have to push against the window while pushing the button and it closes all the way.Any idea what is wrong?the other little problem I am having is with my bose rear speaker they can't seem to handle bass to well at higher volume pretty sure I need some new ones anyone happen to have some for sale?

Sounds like you need a window regulator for that window.I got one on ebay pretty cheap.

On the rear speakers.Take the plastic cover off and see if the voice cone has separated from the foam surround.If so some hot glue will fix ya up.FYI the Foam surround lays on top of the paper cone.

Texas Sun/Heat can do a number on our rear speakers.

thanks for the tip cones are lose so that is going to be an easy fix As for my windows regulator sounds bad since all 4 windows have that problem How hard was it to replace the regulator?

awesome thanks!! that will help , seeing I just figured out I need to have the timing belt replaced since it has never been done on this car and I have over 120k miles on it.
