The other day, I went to roll the window down to drop a quater in the toll receptable when it refused to go down. I pressed the window lock button down then up again but still nothing. When i got home, i pressed the window button and it worked... I was like WTF?.. ever since then, the windows worked fine, until yesterday when i was on my way to HIN and it began to rain and it refused to go up. Neither window operates. I can hear the relays clicking but nothing happens.. Any Ideas????

I would suggest that it might either be a worn rubber bushing in the motor housing or a loose connection at the amp. Can you hear the motor turning? If so, then it is the former; if not, then it may be the latter.

Yes it would. And if both windows are being affected then throw out my first suggestion as I was thinking it was only the driver side.

I've seen a loose amp connector a couple times. It's not definite, but it's the first thing I'd check. The door panel comes off mighty easily, then just play with the connector while trying to operate the windows.

I was wrong. According to the wiring diagram, the amp only affects the driver side window. Something doesn't add up here. It does not seem that any one thing could prevent both windows from operating yet still cause the relay clicking noise.
