Got a '91 M30 and having window problems. Most of the time the driver's window works fine (but not alway). When I let the passenger window down from the driver side it works well, but, when I try to raise it, it comes up about 2" then stops. When I reach across and use the passenger side button, it goes up and down great. What's the problem? Please help.

Wear [higher resistance] in drivers side switch assembly---replace. Do you lubricate your rubber window channels every 6 months to lower thee restance of the window sliding up?

I think he means using the driver's door controls versus the passenger door control.

THANKS FOR YOU REPLY. I JUST WASN'T SURE SINCE THERE IS ONE ASSEMBLY THAT THE WINDOW BUTTONS ARE ON AND ANOTHER BESIDE THAT THE ANOTHER GANG OF WIRE PLUG IN TO (I WAS TOLD IT WAS THE BLACK BOX OR AMP).

THANKS,
