DRIVER'S SIDE POWER WINDOW WORKS ONLY WHEN BUTTON PUSHED DOWN AND DOOR SLAMMED. THE SWITCH CONTROL IS NOT THE PROBLEM IT WAS REPLACED WITH NEW ONE. WHAT COULD BE WRONG? BAD MOTOR, BAD MOTOR AMPLIFIER OR WHAT? PLEASE HELP!

Could it be a loose connection? There are three connections in my J30 windows. Don't know about a Q45. I'm guessing it's similar.

One connector is for the switch itself. Doesn't sound like this one since you had it replaced.

The other harness is the one that connects to the power window motor itself.

The other harness is for the power window amp (i think this is a relay).
