hey..i got in my car today and the window was working fine. then i left to go do something got back in my car and my window wouldnt go down. So i started to drive it and i was messing around with the switch and all of a sudden it went down and it worked fine. Could this be a bad motor?

Could be the motor. Check if there's any grease there. Also when you try to make the window go up or down does it make any noise?

If you listen closely, is there any mechanical click coming from the rear of the door when you push the switch? You sometimes really have to be listening to hear it. It's not the sound the switch makes, but a separate one.

kinda the same thing happened to me, and benemorius is right, about the click.

i took of my panal and inside a little white box you will fina a circuit board and the little metal flaps. wiggle around on the end of the circuit board (where the connector is) and try and use your switch, then either put some paper to jam it into the right angle, or what i did, at first i tried paper but it wouldnt last very long... so i dronve around with no door panel for a while, then i just cut a hole at the bottom of the door panel, where those little holder things are, and just pulled the little device threw and left it there... easy acess and it works.

i can get pics if whatr i did if you want...matt

If it is the "little box" that's causing problems, I don't think it would cost much at a salvage yard...

I had the same problem and it was a loose connection in the "little black box thing-a-ma-bob". I think the manual lists it as the power window amp?

It's a control box with several relays in it. I'm not sure what Nissan calls it.
