Hi everyone, I'm 42 and just bought my first import and learned the hard way on how un-cheap these cars are to service & maintain. I am having trouble with the right rear door lock, window & light. I've got a good 12v at the connector at the black box but nothing works. I can use the switch with the key on or off and the box will buzz but does nothing with the console switch. I pulled the plug at the window motor and got the box to click instead of buzz but still nothing else worked. The rest of the windows work fine. Any help on this would be appriciated.

Welocme to NICO LiJ!

Have you downloaded the manual and followed its diagnostics?

What were the results of your LAN diagnostics test?

Two of the window & lock switches went out in my car. To fix this you need to replace the window/lock actuator. Its that little black box in each door panel, the motor does not need to be replaced.

Its called the LCU, I forgot what it stands for. Once you replace this it will also work from the center console.

Best bet is to get one from a 1994-96 Q45 at a junkyard if you can find it. Make sure you replace it from the same door.

Yes but if one of your LCU's are out then that window won't roll down or unlock using the key fob
