So here's the problem. After I bought my car a year ago I had to change the window motor and the amp motor. Earlier today I had the windows down and went to roll them up and the same window that gave me problems a year ago. I took the door panel off and got the window up and pulled the amp. The amp looks good and doesn't look like there are any problems with it except there is a piece of copper showing through the green mat. There is also a clicking noise coming from inside of the door panel. I think it might be the window amp that the clicking noise is coming from does this mean its bad.

I found a website that sells the window motors brand new, not remaned, for under $50 but the only thing is that the only one they have is the one for a 89-94 Maxima. Will this work? It looks like it is the same thing and has the same kind of connectors.

I also fixed the driver side window switch so I don't think it is that.

check the for sale section. Look for part outs and that kind of stuff and throw up a wtb thread. I'm sure you can find anything door related that way

Does anyone know if the 1989-94 motor will work for a s14. It looks the same in the picture but it is hard to tell.

Sounds alot like my last year. The sound you here in the amp are the relays i believe. So thats normal. The S13 motor has a different size gear so is a no go. Might be able to switch out the guts? Worked on my truck. I to need a window motor for a S14, didnt see 240 on that website.

clicking noise from inside the door panel then you may have broken teeth on your window teeth gears..
