I'm a new user and have found the forums very helpful. I own a '91 q45. My driver's side front window will not go down, the latest in a long line of electrical woes. I assumed it was the motor, so i have removed the regulator and bought a new motor. Also, installed a new switch.
However, when I plug in the new motor and flip the switch, nothing happens.
I have noticed that there is a plastic white box mounted underneath the armrest that clicks when i flip the switch. It is labeled:
AMP ASSY AUTO P/W28515 60U00ET881 12VJIDECO
It has eight pins on one side and plugs into the door's wiring.
When I took it off and shake it gently, it rattles. I suspect this mystery part is the cause of my problem. Does anyone know what this is? If so, could this be my problem, and how do I get a new one?
