Power Window Electrical Problem

Hi i got a 1990 nissan 240SX I just bought it and the drivers side power window will not go up or down. it just clicks. It is not the window motor or the fuse but i dont know what to do to fix it?

any suggestions would be great

Your Power Window Amp is a great place to start, take it out, where the connector plugs in use a small screw driver to pop the cover around it off, the circuit board will then slide out, you may have to pull with moderate pressure but DO NOT PRY IT OUT!! once your circuit board is out take a pic of both sides and post them and i will do my best to diagnose whether your amp is faulty

Yeah okay ill upload some photos soon... the amp is what clicks when i push the button for the window to go up

the amp is what was clicking on mine, it will make a hollow sounding click somewhat similar to tapping a hollow metal pipe with a stick, not a sharp click like a ball point click pen, Should look like the ones in the picture
